Disciple I: Becoming Disciples through Bible Study

Disciple IV: Under the Tree of Life

The Disciple Study will begin in mid September 2010. It will be offered on a Sunday afternoon/evening.

 Your church offers a variety of opportunities to experience spiritual growth.  Some of these include:

Ladies Bible Study

Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.

Prayer Group

A prayer group has been informally meeting for over a year to pray for the needs of our church members, for revival in our church and spiritual awakening in our community. Men and women of the church are invited to join this group each weekday morning at 6 AM in the sanctuary. We meet for about an hour.

Disciple I - Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study:

This study is an overview of the Old and New Testaments.  It is a 34-week study with daily readings.  The format includes a weekly video segment featuring highly respected Biblical scholars as presenters.

Disciple II - Into The Word, Into The World:

This study is an in-depth study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts.  It is a 32-week study.  There are daily reading assignments and the same format as Disciple I.

Disciple III-   Remember Who We Are:

This study is an intensive study of the Prophets of the Old Testament and the Epistles of Paul.This is a 32 week study. The daily reading assignments and format are similar to the other disciple studies.

Disciple IV - Under The Tree Of Life:

This study is on the Writings in the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures of John, James, Jude, 1-2-3 John and Revelation.  This 32 week study is prepared for graduates of Disciple I.  The image of the Tree of Life frames the Biblical story and, along with the color of gold, emphasizes the prd and promise in the scriptures.

Friday Men's Prayer Group:

All men are invited to meet at the church at 6:30 AM for breakfast, Christian fellowship, and discussion.

J.O.Y. Fellowship (Just Older Youth):

All members of our church family who are 55 or older (and their spouses) are welcome to come at noon on the second Thursday of the month for food, fellowship and various social activities.

Walker's Welcome:

Daily walking in the Activity Center from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.  Everyone is welcome to walk.

Wednesday Night Supper:

Every Wednesday evening we have a time of fellowship beginning at 5:30 PM.  For more information or to make a reservation online, visit our Wednesday Night Supper page.

K.I.C.S. (Kids in Christ's Service):

Held in conjunction with our Wednesday Night Supper, K.I.C.S. is designed for children ages kindergarten to fifth grade.  Various activities are designed to nurture spiritual growth.  Visit our Children's Ministry or Weekly Calendar pages for more information.
