Angel  Food Ministries

Angel Food Ministries (www.angelfoodministries.com) is a non-denominational organization dedicated to providing financial support in the form of food relief to communities throughout the United States . Established in 1994 to provide relief for struggling families in the Monroe , GA area, Angel Food Ministries today serves hundreds of thousands of families across 42 states. We are now a host site here at VFUMC. If you are interested in purchasing reduced boxes of food, orders will be taken this Friday, June 11 from 9 AM until 12 noon. Payment is due when orders are submitted. We accept cash, checks or money orders (payable to VFUMC) and food stamps.  There are several boxes to choose from ranging from $16 to $35. All orders must be in by Tuesday, June 15 and your order can be picked up on Saturday, June 19. Time to be announced. When picking up your order bring your own box or cooler. Brochures for June 2010 can be found in the church office. Anyone can purchase this food.

  If you would like to help pack these boxes, please come to our training session on Monday, June 14 at 9 AM in the Cleo Auld Classroom. Packing boxes will only be one day a month for around an hour or two.
